The world cup 2022 league matches have concluded, and we are currently in the last but one game of the tournament. All 12 teams fought hard to be in the final 4. The tournament was like a roller coaster ride where semifinalists were decided on the last day of the league games. The rain too took part in this tournament and defeated all the teams which unfortunately had played against it. Some teams were unlucky but some underrated teams performed really well and surprised everyone with their performance. Netherlands, Zimbabwe, and Ireland defeated some top teams to make their way harder for a semifinal. Overall the matches were not one-sided.
Story of Semifinal
Unlike league matches, the semifinals were dull. Both semifinal matches were one-sided. Pakistan defeated New Zealand in the first semifinal. The match was held in Sydney and appeared to be a boring contest at first and only ended that way. With so much struggle, Pakistan easily chased the total of 150 given by the New Zealand batsman.
The second match was between England and India. The match was not boring but there was no fighting spirit shown by the Indian team while defending the target.England with no wicket loss chased the total of 168 easily in 16 overs
The height of coincidences
