England champion white ball team

The World Cup 2022 has concluded, and the team that taught or established a template of how to play the shorter version of cricket has won the title of T20I champion. England won the World Cup final by defeating Pakistan by 5 wickets. The world-class team utterly outperforms in knockouts. England carried out their fearless approach that they had been using for years without any pressure.

Formation of new Template

England performed so poorly at the 2015 ODI World Cup that they were positioned close to the bottom of their group. Given how terrible England was, they only managed to win 2 of the 6 games they played. This courageous strategy model was introduced to white ball cricket by Eion Morgan, who was named England captain in 2014. Following the 2015 World Cup, he brought about a significant shift in England’s strategy, allowing players to play much more aggressively.

After the 2015 World Cup, England developed a new template: the template of fearless cricket with a white ball. The England cricket board also implemented a new rotation policy to manage players’ workloads and protect them from injury. While trying this new template they lost several bilateral games, but they stuck to their plan and remained confident that this formula would help them win the world cup trophy. The belief became reality and they became the world champion in 50 over cricket.

Current both formats champion of white ball

Now England is the only team who is the former champions of both formats (T20 & ODI) of white ball cricket. The team is without a doubt the most dangerous in the shorter format. England revolutionized the T20 format by teaching the rest of the world how to play it and by demonstrating that it should be played without fear. They deserved to be the champion
