### Make your own rule set

Rules are the fundamental and crucial component of any game you play. You should preferably sign up and create your own Rule Set so Fantasy Points are calculated as per YOUR preference, this will make it easier to integrate the platform.

- “PER” means the rule applies for every such event.
- Otherwise the it applies just ONCE.
- “BONUS” points can be cumulative.

### Default Rule Set

Here are some default rules of Fantasy Match Points API for Batting, Bowling, and Fielding/Catching

#### Fantasy Points Batting Rules

The key metric for batting is “Runs”. The secondary metric is “Strike Rate”. Calculations are done accordingly.

**Key metric (Runs) points:**

- +1 point PER run
- +1 point PER four(
*For every boundary batsman gets an additional 1 point for example if a batsman hits 2 boundaries then the points will be**1 (points per four) * 2 (number of fours) = 2*) - +2 points PER six (
*For every six the batsman gets an additional bonus of 2 points as it takes more effort to hit a six example if a batsman hits 2 sixes the points will be 2 (points per six) * 2 (number of sixes ) = 4*) - -2 points if dismissed for a 0 (
*Your entire fantasy team will lose 2 points if you have a batsman in it and he gets out on 0(without scoring a run). For instance, if your total fantasy points before the batsman went out were 112, they will now be 110.*)

**Bonus Points**

- +4 bonus points for scoring 30 runs (
*If a batsman scores more than 30 runs then additional 4 points will be added to batsman fantasy points*) - +4 bonus points for a half-century (
*If a batsman scores more than 50 runs then the previous 30 runs bonus points + additional 4 points of 50 runs will be added to batsman fantasy points that means in total 8 bonus points will get added*) - +8 bonus points for a century (
*If a batsman scores more than 50 runs then the previous 30 and 50 runs bonus points +additional 4 points will be added to batsman fantasy points means in total 16 points bonus will get added)*

**Secondary metric (Strike Rate) points:**

- -2 points if Strike Rate is below 70 (
*If the strike rate of the batsman after getting out or at the end of the inning is below 70 then*)**-2**points will get reduced from batsman fantasy points - 2 points if Strike Rate is below 60 (
*If the strike rate of the batsman after getting out or at the end of the inning is below 60 then 2 points + strike rate below 70 (-2 points) will also get reduced which means total*)**-4**points will get deducted from batsman fantasy points - 2 points if Strike Rate is below 50 (
*If the strike rate of the batsman after getting out or at the end of the inning is below 50 then 2 points + strike rate below 70 (-2 points) and strike rate below 50 (-2 points)will also get reduced which means total***-6**points will get deducted from batsman fantasy points will get reduced from batsman fantasy points) - 0 points if Strike Rate is between 70-130(
*If the strike rate of the batsman is between 70 and 130 then no points will be added or deducted or added on batsman fantasy points*) - +2 points if Strike Rate is greater than 130 (
*If batsman strike rate is greater than 130 then 2 points will get added*) - +4 points if Strike Rate is between 150 (
*If the batsman’s strike rate is greater than 150 then 4 points + additional 2 points(strike rate greater than 130 ) will get added that is total of 6 points will get added*) - +6 points if Strike Rate is more than 170 (
*If the batsman’s strike rate is greater than 150 then 4 points + additional 6 points(strike rate greater than 130 (2 points) and strike rate greater than 150 (4 points)) will get added that is total 12 points will get added*)
